Wild Life Safari Yala

(7 kms to the Yala Entrance)

Absolute fun and excitement–safari wildlife viewing in open top jeeps in the famed Udawalawa, Lunugamwehera, Bundala and Yala National Parks.

Bird Watching

Bird-watching or birding is the observation or study of birds with the naked eye or through binoculars; remember – National Parks are around the corner.

Sea and Lake Fishing

Governors Camp is located a mere 400 metres from the sea, and even has access to a secluded beach

(please bring your own fishing lines or rods).

Camping

Make a wish upon a shooting star, listen to nature’s very own cricket orchestra, enjoy the sumptuous BBQ and allow the soothing winds lull you into relaxed slumber

Recreation

A wide array of activities, including Sea-bathing, Nature Walks/Jogging within premises or along the beach, Board Games, Beach Volley Ball, Cricket, Croquet, Draughts, Chess and Carom, while the kids get to thoroughly enjoy a Tree House and Sand Pit.
