Governor’s Camp Udawalawe is located on a peaceful 3-acre lakefront plot along the banks of the Kiriibbanara Wewa in Sewanagala, Uva Province. The campsite is situated roughly 12 kilometers (about 10 to 20 minutes by car) from the main entrance ticket counter of Udawalawe National Park.
Its position makes it an effortless stopover connecting the south coast beaches (Tangalle, Mirissa, Galle) with the central mountain country (Ella, Haputale, Nuwara Eliya).

Approx. 1.5 to 2 hours drive from Tangalle, Mirissa, or Galle via the Southern Expressway (E01) and Embilipitiya Highway.
